[part of the Tuesday for Travel blog series – reviews, recommendations, and stories based on our travels and excursions]
I’ve finally gotten to the last of the Cleveland, Ohio trip! When it was time for our last stop, we were tired, missing the kids, and very much needing to get back home. Our Myrtle Beach trip was just hours away and I still had quite a bit of packing to do. While exploring Playhouse Square we searched for a quick but unique spot for lunch in an attempt to delay our 7 hour car ride just a little bit. Our very last meal before hitting the road home was at Rothschild Farms restaurant.
I absolutely LOVED the decor here! Green is my favorite color decorating wise, and while I would never be brave enough to attempt this shade, this place looked really neat.
These wall boxes are so neat! They held jams, preserves, and canned vegetables. I’m keeping this idea in my arsenal of future home ideas. 🙂
Upstairs there is loft overlooking the restaurant.
And more importantly, the food… The menu is made up of sandwich style choices. I went with the Anti-Sanders Wrap and Chris had The Gobbler. On the side, we tried an Orecchiette Salad. We both throroughly enjoyed our choices!
The neatest part was the look alike cast iron skillets used for plates. What a unique idea!
Next to the restaurant is a yummy looking creamery with a sweet spiral staircase.
Next week we head back to the beach (and I’m going to wish I’m back at the shore, too 🙂 ).
I love to hear from you! Comment below!
