Aside from having the great pleasure of watching love and families grow, one of the best parts of this job is constantly meeting new industry professionals who have a love for the same thing.  Working with others who share a passion for putting together and recording one of the most important days in a couple’s life is always a rewarding experience.  Of course, when I find out that one of those people is a former Hokie, I’m always that much more excited. 😉

Julia from Down the Aisle Events spearheaded day of coordination for The Columns at Six Penny Farm styled wedding shoot back in May.  Keep in mind I had a full days worth of wedding activities plus two sets of models to fit into about 3 hours of light before the spring sunset. Couple this with short 15 minute increments to capture a long list of shots in each of the areas I wanted to highlight, Julia had quite the task of keeping track of what I had shot, what I still needed to shoot, and warning me when it was time to move on to the next location.  She was invaluable in keeping the shoot going and on time.  Looking for a wedding planner?
