Sometimes the creative world can feel kind of lonely.  Many of us started in 9-5 industries with coworkers and other humans in our workplace working towards a common goal.  Now, most of the time it’s just us and our computer screens.  Other photographers certainly understand how isolating this can feel, BUT we’re competitors.  Rivals, we could even say, in a limited size market.

This is where the lovely ladies at The Rising Tide Society come into play.  Their brilliant idea to create a movement based on community over competition has latched onto this industry in an amazing way. On the first Tuesday of each month, meetings take place all over the country in an effort to spread this awesome message.  Tuesdays Together is perfect for any creative looking to connect with others and discuss topics related to the industry.

The Charlottesville, Virginia Tuesdays Together group met yesterday at Early Mountain Vineyards (yes, on a Wednesday…EMV is closed on Tuesdays 🙂 ). We had an evening of rewarding networking and group conversation.   Best of all, Brittany from Southern Grown Vintage brought these adorable gift bags with sweets and soda.
