The Shenandoah National Park is one of my favorite places in the world. It’s awfully convenient that the entrance to Skyline Drive is only minutes from my home! 😉 Big Meadows is a favorite photo location for me. I just love the wide meadow, wildflowers, and the delicious golden light that shines through just before sunset. Couple all this with a beautiful sunset backdrop over the Shenandoah Valley and it is seriously a match made in photographer heaven!
This session was especially special to me because these kiddos are my cousins. When I edit, my own kids occasionally like to climb up on my lap and watch. Carter peered onto my computer screen and said “Man, that little boy looks an awful lot like Quinn!” I had to giggle when I responded, “Yes, Carter. That’s because it IS Quinn.” 🙂
Both of these guys were SO easy to get along with and cooperative for the entire session.
They love each other just a little bit. 😉
Cue evil villain laugh 🙂
Big sister teaching little brother how to pop the heads off of weeds. These two have so much fun together! This was just before I pointed out the “safari” trees in the distance that remind me of The Lion King. Bri held Quinn up like he was Simba and she was Rafiki! 🙂
Taking a little stroll…
And my favorite time, sunset over the Shenandoah Valley.
Thanks to these guys for being such good sports for their momma and me. 🙂
I love to hear from you! Comment below.
