[part of the Tuesday for Travel blog series – reviews, recommendations, and stories based on our travels and excursions]
Enter, stage left, reason 1 of 3 that made me gain 6 pounds in 48 hours. 🙂
We found out that we were headed to Cleveland, Ohio on a very short business trip with just a days notice. Chris quickly began researching our breakfast destination. Jack Flaps came highly recommended based off of internet reviews, and the menu looked like it fit us perfectly.
We weren’t quite sure our GPS was navigating us to the correct spot, so we doubled checked the address. The street was somewhat desolate, but it turned out to be quite the hidden gem!
About half of the breakfast selections look a little more like dessert, but we were quite happy to indulge. 🙂 Chris chose a Graham Cracker Waffle with Breakfast Kimchi and Vietnamese Style Sausage Patties. The Graham Cracker Waffle is a combo of chocolate Nutella and marshmallows and is TO DIE FOR…I’m hoping to recreate this at home one day.
I went with the Creamsickle Pancakes (I’m in love with all things flavored orange) and the Root Vegetable Hash. The Creamsickle Pancakes were smothered in orange marmalade and devonshire cream and were simply divine!
Not only is the food simply AMAZING, the decor is neat too.
If you are ever in Cleveland, we 100% recommend a stop at Jack Flaps for breakfast!
I love to hear from you! Comment below.
