I honestly can’t remember when I first met Josh. My grandparent’s house separated mine and his when I was growing up and I was schoolmates and a friend of his younger brother, Dustin.

Sarah and I met during my student teaching stint at McGaheysville Elementary School (my former teacher life before taking my photo business full time). I’ve loved watching their relationship grow – getting married, documenting their family when they were puppy parents, and now the icing on the cake – their little J’s first birthday!

As a special treat, Sarah chose to include her mother, Miss J’s grandma, in these photographs. Definitely a great idea! A grandmother’s love is unmatched and these cute interactions prove just that.

Isn’t she just so sweet? I love the many faces of babies! 🙂
