Shenandoah Crossing

[part of the Tuesday for Travel blog series – reviews, recommendations, and stories based on our travels and excursions]

So, it may only have an hour left in this rainy Tuesday, but I have a little gem for the blog today.  It’s my FAVORITE place for a quick weekend getaway.  Seriously, we come here about once a month and even bought a TIMESHARE so that we could come here as much as we wanted. 😉

Shenandoah Crossing is a resort in Gordonsville, Virginia that is apart of the Bluegreen Vacations timeshare company.  The resort itself boasts cabins, yurts, and more specific to us, an amazingly manicured campground for our “glamping” needs. 🙂  The pull-through campsites have outdoor sinks, gas grills, fire rings, and great outdoor furniture.  It is a 5-star camping set up for sure!

One of our favorite amenities at the campground is pool area.  Two pools,  a couple of hot tubs, and a kid-friendly splash zone make this area a popular spot!  We spend our summer hours cooling off here!

The lodge has a restaurant, bar, deck, and tic-tac-toe for my kiddos enjoy. 🙂

Behind the lodge is the lake, great for fishing, kayaking, and pontoon or paddle boat rentals.

I’m obsessed with the stamped concrete at Shenandoah Crossing.  I am destined to have this on my front porch one day!

Enjoying a little ice cream with Grammi and Paw Paw. 🙂

We also enjoy the multiple playgrounds, kids area and activities, and the horse stables.  Shenandoah Crossing in Gordonsville, Virginia is a great place for a long vacation or a weekend getaway!  They also have event space for weddings and receptions.

I love to hear from you! Comment below.
