Kim and I started school together in Kindergarten and were in same Girl Scout troop, although we didn’t officially become best friends until we shared Mrs. Myer’s fifth-grade class at Elkton Elementary School.  Years of basketball games, sleep overs, 4-wheeler and bike rides later, (plus innumerous embarrassing middle school shenanigans that I will not publish on the internet for both of our sake 🙂 )  and we somehow both became adults.  I’m still not quite sure how, when, or why that happened!

When Kim met Tory and told me how perfectly they fit together, my heart leapt with joy!  A little later, she shared the joyous news of their engagement and I was absolutely thrilled to capture their special day (almost two years ago 🙂 ).

Kim and I are both busy with families of our own taking up ALL of our time now.  We’re much more likely to run into each other at the Little League field or playground than for a sleep over, but I still enjoy reminiscing all of the silly times.

….and we’ll just forget to mention the time we were running through the barn and I fell and got stuck in a split position between 4 round hay bales that were taller than us and I peed my pants before we figured out a way to get out… WHOOPS!  I guess that cat’s out of the bag! 😉
