Rivercrest Farm in Elkton, Virginia was the perfect mountain flocked backdrop for Nate & Heather’s October wedding day. The perfect culmination of a long line of struggles and disappointments, this day reminded all of us where you’ll land with a touch of patience mixed with a ton of faith.

I’ve known Nate for as long as I can remember. He’s a “small town” cousin of mine – one of the ones where I can’t quite tell you exactly how the connection works, but I know it’s there. We became friends in high school and I’ve enjoyed watching his life evolve through sports and then becoming a dad of the sweetest little girl. Heather went to the same high school and also has an adorable daughter. Heather’s sister Jessica coined the feeling of this wedding day perfectly in her toast: “I’ve known both of you separately for a long time, but you’ve never been better than you are together.”
