I first met Michael & Rachel for for a yummy meal at Clementine a few months ago.  It’s one of my go-to favorite restaurants downtown Harrisonburg, so I knew it would be a great place to meet and chat about their wedding plans.

Three things told me we’d be the perfect fit.  First, these two are laid-back and carefree – something almost all my couples have in common.  Next, they are Hokies.  No need to say more. 🙂 Last, they are tying the knot in May at The Columns at Six Penny Farm – hands down my favorite wedding venue in the Shenandoah Valley!

Michael & Rachel also love being outside, and I was glad we share this hobby.  Their choice of engagement session location was dreamy.  They live a few minutes from Whitney State Forest and enjoy hiking these trails.  There’s seriously no better way to document your engagement than at a place with special meaning!

I can’t wait to share in their wedding day in a few months!
