I doubt you can tell, but John & Jordan did not join me on a warm spring morning for their engagement session.  Just two weeks earlier, an unseasonably late snow storm threatened the Washington, DC cherry blossoms.  The blooms popped just in time for our sunrise session – but it was COLD. And windy.  These two love birds didn’t let that stand in the way of a great time.  Their radiant love coupled with Jordan’s spring inspired dress warmed the session right up. 🙂

Documenting their engagement waterside at the Tidal Basin was beyond fitting.  John proposed to Jordan beside a lake in Florida where she spent lots of time with her grandfather growing up.  Since recently losing her grandfather, John knew being at that special place would allow Jordan to feel near her grandfather even though he couldn’t be present.  Having her grandmother there to witness the big question helped, too.

Don’t these two just look so lucky in love?
