Decorating is one of those things that is not a talent of mine.  I love to look at pretty things and occasionally have some decent overall ideas, but I’m not very good at pulling together all of the small details to make it work.  Having a sidekick at the wedding shoot back in May at The Columns at Six Penny Farm who had the ability to envision some amazing ideas AND pull them off was invaluable!

Megan from Sweet Pea Creations in Harrisonburg, Virginia is a crafter extraordinaire!  I’ve had the pleasure of seeing her work at birthday parties, dramatic plays at school, and now weddings!

Check out this gold “love” cutout.  Such a sweet photo prop!

The bar set up includes handwritten chalkboard drink labels and “Cheers to Love, Laughter, and Happily Ever After” sign.  Check out that adorable DIY table place card!

I am IN LOVE with this chalkboard clothesline seating chart.  Megan’s ability to use different styles of handwriting amazes me!  And those teapots? What a unique and beautiful centerpiece and floral accent decoration!

One thing you are sure to get with Megan is out of the box ideas.  How neat is this kids table idea?  What kid wouldn’t love some age appropriate entertainment at a long, boring wedding reception?? 😉  This kids wedding reception table includes colored pencils, markers, crayons, and other craft supplies.
