I have enjoyed working at several venues with different vendors the past few years.  Without a blog, I’ve had no way to share these great places and people!  Over the next few weeks I’ll feature past weddings to highlight some great small businesses in Virginia.

Today we’re featuring Spring Meadows in Mount Solon, Virginia.  This venue combines three perfect features: an old but immaculate estate farm house, gorgeous outdoor ceremony site, and reception barn.

Indoors, separate rooms are available for bridal party prep.  The staircase and stained glass doorway make perfect picture locations.

This willow tree and garden make a romantic outdoor ceremony backdrop.  Do be mindful when selecting a ceremony time at this venue.  This area receives full sun, so a midday wedding would receive pretty harsh light.

An arched bridge and stone outbuilding are great for formal photos.

The reception barn offers ample space for dancing and tables.  Add on a tented area outside the barn if more space is needed.
