I’ve heard the horror stories.  Photographer works a 10 hour wedding work day only to be served a pb & j while the wedding guests are served filet mignon…  Caterers forget the photographer’s meal and pulls out a sandwich from the top of the garbage bag as solace…   While these stories make me cringe, I am blessed to have worked with some awesome couples and vendors who treat others with such kindness and regard.  Knock on wood, I’m thankful to say that dinner has never been a negative experience on one of our wedding days.

Being the foodie that I am, one of the things I look forward to is trying out new caterers.  The Roderick wedding at Melrose Caverns was no exception!  I was so excited to hear that this couple was having a food truck cater their wedding.  I love when brides and grooms choose unique vendors for their big day.

Blue Ridge Pizza Co. out of Crozet, Virginia (near Charlottesville) prepared, baked, and served out of this world delicious pizza!  Using their wood-fired oven, they create unique ingredient combinations and the result is simply mouth watering!  Not to mention, the owner and employees are super kind!
